Location: Kansas

Description: This project consists of the construction of the first segment of the V-Plan, 32 miles in Barber County . The entire V-Plan project will consist of approximately 122 miles of 345kV transmission line to connect eastern and western Kansas, and will run from the Thistle substation near Medicine Lodge to Spearville, Kansas. L.E. Myers has the opportunity to bid subsequent sections as they become available. The Kansas V-Plan project is ITC Great Plains’ second major transmission project in Kansas, following completion of the Spearville-Axtell or KETA Project. L.E. Myers is performing clearing, foundations, structure erection and conductor installation.
