SCOTT LAMONT

President, L.E. Myers and Group Vice President, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), East

Scott became group vice president, MYR Group Transmission & Distribution (T&D) East in 2016. In 2020 he was named president of L.E. Myers. He is responsible for overall performance, client relations, and strategic growth of the T&D eastern region, and union operations. This includes oversight of MYR Group subsidiaries L.E. Myers, Harlan Electric, and E.S. Boulos.

Scott began his career with MYR Group in 2005 as operations manager for Harlan Electric and was promoted to vice president of both Harlan Electric and L.E. Myers in 2011. Prior to joining the MYR Group of companies, Scott held leadership positions of increasing responsibilities for various electrical companies in the Northeastern U.S. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he is well-versed in leading teams in all phases of electrical construction.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is a graduate of WPI’s School of Industrial Management. He is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and a board of trustees member for both The Northeastern Line Constructors and American Line Builders chapters. Scott is also active as a board of trustees member for the IBEW Local 1249 Pension, Insurance, and Annuity funds.

DANNY GESSMAN

Regional Vice President, South

Danny began his 26-plus year career in 1996 as a district estimator and project manager with MYR Group subsidiary, Hawkeye Construction in Portland, Oregon, before transferring to L.E. Myers in 2001 as a transmission line supervisor. Over the next 10 years, he gained management experience as a senior estimator and area and program manager with Henkels & McCoy Inc.

Danny rejoined L.E. Myers in 2013, advancing from project manager to operations manager, and then district manager of the Large Projects Group. In 2018, Danny was promoted to regional vice president, overseeing operations, safety, project management, customer relations, and labor relations for the Southeast. 

Danny is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Tri-Lateral Safety Alliance (TLSA) Safety Subcommittee, chairperson of Tennessee Valley Trades and Labor Conference (TVTLC) Partner Contractor Safety Committee, and TVTLC Joint Administrative Council Contractor representative. 

JEFF WEBBER

Regional Manager

Jeff has been regional manager for L.E. Myers Mid-Atlantic region, including Florida, since 2020. As such, he oversees the region’s overall performance, including operations, project team management, safety, strategic business development, and profitability. Before this, he was a district manager for 10 years, managing operations and the district’s overall growth and health.

Jeff began his career with L.E. Myers in 1994 as a lead project manager and estimator. He then held a variety of roles in the electrical construction industry for Shaw Eds, Richard-Wayland Electrical, and Kenny Construction before returning to L.E. Myers as district manager in 2011.  

Jeff graduated from Virginia Western College with an associate degree in civil engineering technology. Throughout his career, he has completed various creative leadership and management development programs and studied project management fundamentals. 

DAVID BODDY

District Manager, Indianapolis

David joined L.E. Myers in 2021 as district manager in Indianapolis, managing the district’s overall performance, including operations, project team management, safety, strategic business planning, and profitability. Before that, he served 14 years with Leidos, where he was vice president of transmission line engineering, supervising a team of engineers, designers, and drafters on projects across the U.S. Before Leidos, David was a transmission line engineer for Sargent & Lundy, LLC, where he led the design, analyses, and recommendations for concurrent teams spanning multiple projects and clients.

David earned a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago and, from the University of Illinois in Urbana, a Master of Science in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering.

He demonstrates his thought leadership by sharing his industry expertise at American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) conferences and through the publication of multiple utility structural design engineering articles. David also serves as the representative for L.E. Myers with American Line Builders chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).  

TATE JOHNSON

District Manager, Marshalltown

Tate joined L.E. Myers as a journeyman lineman in 2012 on the Xcel Energy CAPX 2020 project. After its completion in 2013, he was hired as district manager for L.E. Myers in Marshalltown, Iowa, where he manages the district’s overall performance, including program management, business development, estimating, and safety. 

Tate, who has more than 24 years of industry experience, also was a regional manager at Michels Power and superintendent and foreman at Irby Construction (A Quanta Service Company), managing projects, crews, quality control, and estimates using the engineer-procure-construct (EPC) delivery method. Before Irby, he was an apprentice and lineman for a family-owned construction company, Okay Construction, working on multiple facets of transmission and distribution, including substation and wind farm-related clean energy projects. After college graduation, Tate was an estimator and project manager with Henkels & McCoy in Southern California.

Tate’s industry credentials and training include IBEW journeyman lineman, master’s certification in project management, EPC contract management, and certification in EPZ grounding trainer. He also is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), Power & Communication Contractors Association (PCCA), and an IBEW Local #55 subcommittee. Tate graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business from St. Cloud State University. 

JAYSON SCALI

District Manager, Chattanooga

Jay began working for L.E. Myers in 2020 as the district manager in Chattanooga district, where he oversees the district’s overall performance and operations in three locations: Chattanooga; Charleston, Tennessee.; and Muscle Shoals, Alabama. This includes leading the project management team, field teams, strategic business planning, and district profitability. 

Before joining L.E. Myers, Jay was vice president of operations for CraneWorks, where he managed operations for its $32 million rental equipment fleet. He also implemented various business operation process improvement tools supporting three locations throughout the Southeast. Additionally, was a business unit manager for Hubbell Power Systems for eight years, supervising a diverse workforce and business of more than $34 million in utility automation products.

Jay earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and certifications from business leadership workshops, including ISO9001 and a DMAIC Green Belt from Lean Six Sigma. Before his electrical construction career, he served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he advanced to the rank of an E6 staff sergeant and received two meritorious promotions. 

SCOTT TIBBETTS, PMP

District Manager, Decatur

Scott has been with MYR Group subsidiaries since 2011, beginning his career with L.E. Myers as a project manager, leading teams and managing resources and coordination. In 2015, he moved to Harlan Electric as lead senior project manager and, in 2018, was named director of project management. In 2022, Scott was promoted to his current role as district manager for Decatur, Illinois, where he leads and develops a thriving business with more than 175 team members focusing on completing projects safely, on time, and under budget. Scott also supervises the strategic business development of new and existing clients. 

In his 28-plus years of energy construction experience, Scott has held several project planning and supervisory roles. His vast industry experience includes team management, engineer-procure-construct (EPC) scheduling, resource allocation, total program budgeting, cash flow, and earned value analysis. Throughout his career, Scott’s project teams have developed and managed all aspects of projects ranging from $1 million to $1.5 billion.

He holds an Associate of Science in civil engineering technology and a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Maine. Scott is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is considered one of the company’s project management subject matter experts. 

ANDREW TOLLEY

District Manager, Rural Hall

Andrew worked as a lineman with L.E. Myers from 1982 to 1988, becoming skilled at helicopter erection of poles and towers, pulling lead lines, hot sticking energized conductors, and substation switch installations. Afterward, he spent 10 years with R.H. Bouligny, advancing from foreman to general foreman to superintendent, and then construction manager on transmission and distribution projects.

Andrew rejoined L.E. Myers in 2001, spending 21 years as construction and operations manager before his promotion to district manager of Rural Hall in 2021. In his current role, Andrew oversees the district’s overall performance, including operations, project team management, safety, strategic business planning, and profitability. 

In addition to his more than 43 years of industry experience, Andrew completed several leadership and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety training programs and served on the American Line Builders Apprenticeship Training (ALBAT) subcommittee in Virginia and West Virginia. He studied at Wytheville Community College, completed a four-year electrical apprenticeship program, became a journeyman lineman, and was an IBEW member in Virginia, for more than 11 years. 

JEREMY MILLER

District Manager, Pasadena

Jeremy was promoted to district manager of the Pasadena region in mid-2022.  As district manager, he oversees the district’s health and well-being, including employee safety, and financial performance. Jeremy is entrusted with maintaining and growing existing partnerships while building new ones that help ensure a solid future for L.E. Myers. He came to MYR Group in 2005 as a fleet employee and worked his way into management. In 2012 he moved to L.E. Myers progressing in his career from a project manager to operations manager by 2021.

With over 17 years of industry experience, Jeremy is highly skilled at efficiently managing all types of electrical utility projects including transmission and distribution, substation, and street lighting. He studied business management and completed several certifications in leadership, business negotiations, and employee safety and performance programs. Jeremy is an active member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

WENDY DAVIDSON

Vice President, Business Development

Wendy joined MYR Group as vice president of business development in 2020 where she drives strategic growth throughout the markets we serve. Wendy leads a dynamic team that develops new opportunities, fosters client relationships, and implements effective business strategies that respond to changing market demands to further establish MYR Group’s position as an innovative partner in the clean energy transformation.

Throughout her 30-plus-year career, Wendy has held advisory and leadership roles in the energy and industrial construction markets. Before joining MYR Group, she led business development for Mortenson’s Wind Energy Group by building on her diverse experience gained in previous roles at Koch Industries and GE Capital, and founding her own consulting practice. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University.

JOSH RAWLEY

Director, Business Development

Josh joined MYR Group in 2019 as manager of business development before becoming director of business development in 2022. Josh is responsible for guiding and assisting subsidiaries to develop profitable market strategies in electrical utility construction throughout the Eastern U.S. Before coming to MYR Group, he spent six years at Burns & McDonnell as an electrical engineer where he led and managed substation and transmission design and engineering projects throughout the country.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He has engineering in training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in preparation for becoming a registered professional engineer. He is also an active member of WIRES, a non-profit industry organization that advocates planning and investing in North America’s high-voltage transmission infrastructure, supporting clean energy integration.
