Houston Ship Channel


Location:  Texas

Description: This transmission maintenance project included the construction of two new steel lattice towers and the raising of two existing towers in the Houston Ship Channel.  The job also consisted of the reconditioning of 1.73 miles of CKT to 959.6 ACSS.  A helicopter, along with a crane on a barge was used to erect the 310′ towers, and was also used to wreck out two existing towers.
