May 17, 2021 NECA Recognizes L.E. Myers and Other MYR Group Subsidiaries for Safety Excellence in 2021
CHATTANOOGA DISTRICT EARNS ZERO INJURY AWARD, THREE DISTRICTS RECEIVE SAFETY EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Numerous MYR Group subsidiaries take part in the National Electrical Contractors Association’s (NECA) Recognition of Safety Achievement Program, which awards companies that excel in health and safety. The awards are divided into two categories: Zero Injury and Safety Excellence.
NECA recently announced that The L.E. Myers Co’s (L.E. Myers) Marshalltown, Iowa, Rural Hall, N.C. and Chattanooga, Tenn. districts received NECA 2021 Safety Excellence Awards.
The Recognition of Achievement of Zero Injury Award also went to L.E. Myers’ Chattanooga, Tenn. district.
NECA’s Recognition of Safety Achievement program is an elite safety recognition focused on recognizing thriving companies that excel in multiple areas of their safety and health programs. Member companies that consistently have OSHA recordable injury and fatality rates at levels lower than the industry standard and implement internal company safety practices above and beyond basic compliance receive recognition.
